Apple Ridge Orchards, 101 Jessup Road, Warwick: Wander the pumpkin patch where the rustic farm and fun displays make for great family photos. Travel around the apple orchard and pumpkin patch in a tractor-pulled hayride. Pet and feed the farm’s friendly barnyard animals. The farm stand offers apple cider doughnuts and other delicious farm treats! Lawrence Farms Orchards, 39 Colandrea Road, Newburgh: Pumpkins are just one the fruits and vegetables you can harvest here, including other types of gourds. Check the website for a list of which crops are ready to pick. Manza Family Farm, 730 Rt. 211, Montgomery: The Fall Festival at the Manza Family Farm offers so much more than the 15 acres of pumpkins where you pick your own. On weekends, take barrel train ride and a hayride to feed the cows. The many fall activities include a kids’ playground with a mini slide; a swing set, tube-glider swings and more.
